Graduated from The Dental School of the Aristotelion University of Thessalonica, Greece in 1992. Completed her Master of Science Degree in Periodontics at the University Dental Hospital of Manchester, UK in 1995.

Awarded an EEC scholarship and entered into a clinical and research attachment at the Department of Periodontology at the Royal Dental College, University of Aarhus, Denmark in 1995.

Completed the Certificate in Dental Implantology at the Eastman Dental Institute in 2002.

She is the Principal Dentist of Barkingside Dental Care and has been in Private Practice Limited to Periodontics here in Barkingside and Southgate North London since 1997.

She is a member of the Hellenic and British Society of Periodontology and American Academy of Periodontology.

Graduated from the Dental School of Athens University Greece in 1992. Completed his 3 years Specialist Training leading to Master of Science Degree in Periodontics at the Royal Dental College, University of Aarhus, Denmark in 1997. In May 2005 he completed his PhD degree from the same University.

Private Practice Limited to Periodontics and Implant Dentistry in Athens, Greece from 2000-2005.

In 2005 he joined the Eastman Dental Institute (UCL) as full time Senior Clinical Lecturer at the department of Periodontology. In 2015 he moved to Queen Mary University of London as an Honorary Consultant and Senior Clinical lecturer.

He is a Consultant Periodontist in two other Private Practices in the South East of England.

Recognised by the General Dental Council as a Specialist in Periodontics.

Has published a significant number of papers in international journals in the field of periodontal, Bone Regeneration and Implants. He is an active member of the European Association of Osseointegration, International Team for Implantoltogy, European Federation of Periodontology, Hellenic and British Society of Periodontology.

Graduated from the Dental School of Palermo University in Italy in 2001. In 2002 he was awarded an EU scholarship and entered a clinical attachment in the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery at the Tampere University Hospital in Finland.

Worked as a General Dental Practitioner in the UK from 2004-2007.

From 2007 to 2009 he trained in Prosthodontics and Dental Implantoltogy at the New York University Colege of Dentistry where he was appointed as Clinical Fellow.

From September 2009 Nicola is a Clinical Teaching Fellow and currently Senior Clinical Teaching Fellow at the MSc and MClinDent Programmes at the Eastman Dental Institute in London.

Nicola is involved with Research and has published articles in international dental journals. He is a member of the Academy of Osseointegration and American Dental Society of London.

Practice Limited to Endodontics

After working in UK as a General Dental Practitioner for a year, Eleni was accepted at Guy's Dental Hospital, King's College London, to do her Master's Degree in Endodontics. She completed the two year course in 2005 and since then she has limited her practice to Endodontics, working in the greater London area.

In 2007 Eleni was appointed as a Clinical Teacher at the Restorative Department at Guy's Hospital and since then she teaches Endodontics on a part time basis. She is a member of the British Endodontic Society and a member of the Langham Study Group.

Dr Ioanna Anastasiadou

Ioanna qualified from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. Over a decade of clinical work in the UK took her to care for private and mixed practices in London and Sussex. During this time, she furthered her clinical and diagnostic skills with an intensive 3-year speciality course training in Clinical Dentistry (DClinDent) in Periodontology, at the Queen Mary University of London (UMUL), which also included Implantology.

Ioanna provides non-surgical and surgical periodontal treatment, periodontal and gingival regeneration, aesthetic cases - periodontal plastic surgery, and dental implants. She is now involved with advanced laser treatments for the treatment of periodontal and peri-implant diseases. She has a gentle approach and multifaceted, in-depth management of her patients, taking the time to explain in detail their oral condition. All treatment options and costs involved are thoroughly explained to the patient verbally and in writing.

Dr Tasnim Choudhury

Tasnim Choudhury qualified from Guy’s Hospital, King’s College Hospital and St. Thomas’ Dental School.

Subsequently, she combined work in general practice and the Community Dental Services in London with completing her master’s in Primary Dental Care at the University of Kent. This was focused on education, training, dental public health and Periodontology. During this time, she also taught undergraduate dental students in Primary Dental Care at King’s College London and gained a diverse range of experience in oral surgery, sedation, periodontics, special care, paediatric and restorative dentistry.

Tasnim went on to pursue postgraduate and specialist training in Periodontics at Guy’s Hospital whilst also working there as an undergraduate clinical teacher and examiner at the department of Periodontology. She successfully completed her specialist exams with the Royal College of Surgeons and continues to be involved in dental research into advanced techniques for the management of periodontitis. She stays updated with the latest periodontal therapies and aligners to offer the best holistic care for her patents.

Tasnim has published papers on periodontal risk factors and has a particular interest in the management of mucogingival conditions and a diverse range of laser therapies

Serena graduated from Newcastle University in 2014. Her foundation training started in Wolverhampton under the Russells Hall scheme for one year before moving to her associate role in Nottingham. After a few years she moved to London and began working for our dental surgery, Barkingside Dental Care.

Serena is passionate about cosmetic dentistry and her calm, confident and enthusiastic approach to patients enables her to gain their trust and building a friendly rapport with them. Consistently updating her clinical skills especially undergoing the Monik Vasant composite course, Serena is able to deliver safe and aesthetic treatment to the highest standard from composite bonding to Invisalign.

Her excellent customer service provided in a friendly and holistic manner makes her one of our hard-working dentists at the practice

Dr Supriya Prasad graduated from University of Liverpool Dental School in 2002 with Distinction in Behavioural Management. She completed her postgraduate Vocational Training from The Charing Cross London teaching hospital in 2003 followed by working in general practice at My Dental Care in North London. In 2004 she located to the West Midlands to obtain further training in Conscious Sedation by treating nervous and anxious patients under RA inhalation and IV sedation. After gaining substantial NHS and Private general dentistry experience working with the Bhandal Dental Group she completed her Membership of Joint Dental Faculty post graduation and became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2009. Thereafter Dr Prasad was appointed to become a Vocational Trainer for the Birmingham City teaching hospital scheme followed by becoming a Mentor and Coach for the West Midlands Deanery and the London Deanery. She joined the Dental Law and Ethics Forum in London 2010. During this time she also worked for the National Institute of Clinical Excellence by carrying out audits and participated for clinical trials for NICE recalls guidelines. Dr Prasad has also been a trainer for the National Examining Board for Dental Nurses and facilitates trainee nurses in gaining their National Diplomas in Dental Nursing.

Currently Dr Supriya Prasad works in General Dental Practice in London and in the West Midlands predominantly on the NHS and has a special interest in treating anxious and nervous patients with complex treatment plans. Her empathetic approach and enthusiasm to educate her patients in oral health has been given positive feedback. She thoroughly enjoys general dentistry and working in a team and understands the importance to continue her professional development and education. Dr Prasad enjoys promoting preventative care and has experienced oral health promotion with children in schools and nurseries. She has been appointed as a Fellowship Facilitator in June 2019 from the Royal College of Surgeons and invited in March 2020 as an honorary member of the Faculty of General Dental Practice (FGDP).

During her spare time she loves to spend time with her wonderful family and friends. Her hobbies include cooking, fine dining, health spas, keeping fit, charitable events and travelling all over the world
